How we met
A tale as old as time… Bumble. Yes, we’re here today because two people swiped right.
After we matched, we met for a drink and then went to a Tennessee Basketball game for our first date, watched Tennessee beat Alabama, and had the time of our lives! We have pretty much been head over heels for each other ever since.
Who made the first move?

The Proposal
We were at a tailgate on a barge on the Tennessee River hosted by the Volunteer Club before the Tennessee vs Florida football game. One of the photographers in charge of social media for the Volunteer Club asked to take our picture in front of a large projection screen. While they were taking the picture, they displayed “Kaitie, will you marry me?” on the screen, and Michael got down on one knee.
It was a complete surprise; Michael planned everything without Kaitie knowing! As a bonus, Tennessee beat Florida!
