How we met
A tale as old as time… Bumble. Yes, we’re here today because two people swiped right.
After we matched, we met for a drink and then went to a Tennessee Basketball game for our first date. We watched Tennessee beat Alabama, and had the time of our lives! We have pretty much been head over heels for each other ever since.
Who made the first move?

The Proposal
We were at a tailgate on a barge on the Tennessee River before the Tennessee vs. Florida football game, celebrating with the Volunteer Club.
One of the club’s social media photographers asked to take our picture in front of a large projection screen.
As they started snapping photos, the screen behind us suddenly changed to read, “Kaitie, will you marry me?”
Before I could even process what was happening, Michael got down on one knee. It was a complete surprise — he had planned every detail without me having any idea!
To make the day even more perfect, Tennessee beat Florida. 🧡🏈
